AC10 open graded base course, 18mm natural colour resin
The University of Suffolk has been undertaking a large renovation of a vacant building they had within their university, transforming it into an Esports centre for a new course within the gaming industry. Recently, Barnes Construction, the principal contractor on this renovation contacted us to install the surfacing required around this new building.
The area we were asked to install was an outdoor seating area within the grounds. Most of this area had been block paved, however the university wanted some natural coloured resin based near the seating. To do this, we installed an AC10 open graded base course and our friends at Ace Resin, completed this with an 18mm natural coloured resin. The total area equalled 103 square meters and was installed over two days.
