SORLEY ROAD

Taydal have recently began working alongside RLMH, who specialise in designing, building, and managing commercial buildings around East Anglia. RLMH contacted us earlier this year to quote for a new commercial estate they were building, based in Stowmarket, Suffolk. We were asked to provide quotes for the installations of surfacing and lining of the carparking areas for each building being built.

This is an ongoing job with RLMH, with a total of 6 carparks and footpaths to install. This includes subbase, kerbing, base course and wearing course of open graded material as well as DBM. The variety of material will be installed over various areas, the type of traffic over an area will determine what type of material will be used where. The installations are being completed as requested by RLMH, as soon as a building is ready for the surfacing, we are scheduled in to install as soon as possible.

We began this project on Bury Road, for a new office building, laying the car park to the office and a crossway on the opposite side. This was followed around a month later by Sorley Road Supermarket carpark, which is based directly next to the office buildings. Over these first 3 carparks, we laid approximately 3200 square meters of open graded asphalt.

With another 3 carparks to install within this business estate, we are looking forward to seeing how this project turns out. As well as building a healthy business relationship with RLMH.
