70mm DBM basecourse and 30mm of 6mm SMA wearing course
Recently, we were approached by a private customer who required their driveway to be resurfaced at their residential property based on Rushmere Road, Ipswich. Our main office is based in Ipswich, which meant this was a great local job, so we were thrilled when we were awarded this work.
As this was a private property, gated from the public, we were able to schedule the works in quickly as there was no need for traffic management or pedestrian barriers. The property had great access, meaning our deliveries could tip directly onto site saving our team plenty of time, enough to complete this driveway in one day.
The area of this driveway was a total of 314 meters squared, which was resurfaced with a 70mm thick DBM base course and topped with 30mm thick 6mm SMA wearing course. These materials were chosen because of their durability underneath cars and other vehicles.
