DBM basecourse, SMA basecourse and wearing course.
Planteria Group reached out to us to ask for our assistance in resurfacing their office carpark and pathways. We helped with their offices approximately three years ago, laying surfacing for them, now they are revamping their yard they reached out once more. Planteria Group are a specialist interior landscape designers and plant suppliers, they work all over the world, creating beautiful indoor and outdoor landscaping designs for offices and more.
Taydal were called in to resurface the carpark of their main offices based in Mill Pond Nurseries, Bishops Stortford. The area we were asked to relay was approximately 800 square meters. As well as laying tarmac, we were asked to install kerbing ready for flower beds to be installed and prep the area for the tarmac to be laid.
This work began with the prep, digging out and laying geotextile membrane and type 1 where required before installing the kerbs. This took our teams approximately 3 days. From here on, we were tasked with the laying of the asphalt. The material chosen for these areas was a DBM base course, as well as an SMA basecourse and an SMA wearing course.
In total, we were on this site for 6 days completing the areas required, ready for Planteria to install their landscaping and complete their beautiful entry.
