One of our larger jobs was undertaken in 2016 at Heathrow Airport. Our client, VKE Contractors, contacted us to price up for one of the main roads through Heathrow Airport, allowing entry for collections and drop offs.
This job had to be done in sections, to ensure their was access through to heathrow airport at all times.
This job began with planing out 300mm on the roundabout, before going in to continue laying 581 square metes of binder and wearing course throughout the entire road.
There were many restrictions in place, due to the high usage of this area. However, our gangs worked efficiently while following all health and safety policies, ensuring the safety of our workers, other workers on site and the general public.
