50mm pen DBM wearing course, 10mm SMA wearing course, 80 ton of regulating
L4 Civil Engineering Ltd are a civil engineering company, based in North Northamptonshire, offering works throughout the southeast of England, working on many housing developments as well as retail works and local government. Most recently, they reached out to Taydal for their assistance at a new retail gateway based on Goodison Road, Spalding.
The new gateway based on Goodison road, is filled with retail developments such as Subway, Costa and more. Currently, a Wendy’s is under construction here and in its final stages of development. L4 reached out to Taydal for our assistance in completing the car park and drive thru for this new restaurant.
The area we were asked to install was a total of 1536 square meters and involved laying 50 pen DBM wearing course as well as 10mm SMA wearing course, as well as 80T of regulating. This created the main drive thru area, as well as the access into the restaurant carpark and footpaths. Due to the size of the area, as well as working around other contractors on site, this particular install took us a total of 3 days to complete.
