SMA wearing course
Fischer Farms are a sustainable food production company, who have been celebrated for using a vertical farm. This vertical farm is based in Norwich, which grows herbs and greens in a pesticide free, climate controlled area using automated systems and LED lighting to help plants grow indoors. Recently, they reached out to our friends at Smith of Honingham for their assistance in refurbishing their carpark and pathways.
Smith of Honingham contacted us and awarded the work to us shortly after. The work entailed for this involved resurfacing their car park and footpaths with 1000 square meters of Asphalt. For this, we used our CAT AP555F Paver to lay SMA wearing course across this entire area. The install took one day, meaning we were able to open up the carpark for all workers shortly after.
