DBM base course, DBM wearing course and HRA wearing course
Tarmac are a market-leading construction company, who offer asphalt, aggregate and PAVE infrastructure solutions across the whole of the UK. Tarmac, while being one of our main suppliers of asphalt, also regularly subcontract us to do work on their behalf.
Most recently, they awarded us a large job based in Church Lane, Gorleston, which required installing footpaths and cycle lanes throughout Church Lane. This job has been carried out over many visits, due to this being an active road, we had to work under road closures, this meant our installs had to fit within certain time scales to ensure the road could reopen as usual.
There have been a variety of materials used across this job, but the main three have been DBM base course, DBM wearing course and HRA wearing course. These were used over various areas, equalling a total of 3498 square meters. This work is still ongoing and we can’t wait to see the completed project.
