Silversmith Homes Ltd, based in Letchworth Garden City, reached out to Tay-Dal Surfacing regarding an installation required at Brizes Park, Brentwood, Essex. This project is part of the infrastructure within a residential development, which involved laying a total of 1503 square meters of 10mm Open Graded Wearing course over the main road and entry into Brizes Park residential area.

Our scope of works for this installation involved supply and installation of the 10mm Open Graded Wearing Course, mechanical compaction as well as final checks to ensure quality and compliance. Installation of this wearing course took approximately 2 days, with completion on the 20^th February 2026. This was due the challenge we faced of allowing constant site access as well as seasonal weather. Coordination with site management and our client were a necessity in mitigating these issues.
