DBM road base, base course and wearing course and HRA wearing course with chips
Groupbridge are a long-term client of ours, based in Bury St Edmunds, they are a specialist civil engineering and building construction company. They carry out a variety of works across sectors within East Anglia and surrounding areas. Established in the 1970’s, they are a well-recognised construction company throughout East Anglia.
Recently, they contacted us for our assistance in laying a pathway and a delivery/carpark area for a commercial building, based in Bury St Edmunds. This building, originally used as a bailing shed had been undergoing refurbishment, including decontamination and demolition ready for a new tenant.
For this site, we had a total area of 835 square meters to install. 590 square meters of this was installed with DBM road base and DBM base course, topped with a HRA wearing course and chips. The remaining 245 square meters was installed with DBM base course and wearing course, these were installed over 2 days by our gang. Leaving the sight ready for the next phase of refurbishments.
