Taydal always try to be active in community spaces, helping charities and local events where we can. It brings us a huge amount of pride to be able to give back to local communities.
Back in 2020, we were able to do so by working alongside Apec Groundworks and Cullum Line at YMCA Childcare Centre, on Margaret’s Road, Lowestoft. Where we revamped their playground based on a design from one of the early year’s educators who worked there. The design was based around creating a track on the playground so the children could ride their bikes and toys around, creating a carwash and zebra crossing.
It was Apec Groundworks who received the call from the childrens centre, asking for help to make their creating come true. Apec immediately reached out to us for our assistance, asking if we would offer our supplies and time to help carry out this work for the community. Taydal didn’t hesitate, accepting and arranging for this install to take place.
In September of 2020, a grand opening was thrown within the children’s centre for workers, families and the children to experience the play area for the first time. Our Director, Wayne Dale, stood proudly alongside Jason Jeffery’s from Apec Groundworks, cutting the cord to open the play area and let the children play. Whilst at the grand opening, both our director and Jason Jeffery’s of Apec Groundworks were presented with two hand made frames from the children, this is proudly displayed in our office to this day. We thank Apec Groundworks for giving us the opportunity to be a part of this.
