big print tower project 2023

Tay-dal were delighted to partake in and sponsor another annual Big Print Tower Street Project, which took place on the 20^th May at Suffolk One College. The project was part of Ipswich Print Week 2023 and was the second project for their Our Time In Place Wall-hanging.

Tay-dal’s roller driver, Westley, took part of the ceremony by driving our roller over the extreme print, which will be turned into a wall hanging by a local seamstress. This will be displayed in The Hold for all public to see.

The print itself was created of smaller linocuts, which were all produced by year 10 pupils based in Ipswich across various schools. They were combined to make the larger print, which created the final print and wall hanging.

Tay-dal are proud to be a part of this art loving community and thank Tower Street Print Projects for allowing us the opportunity to be involved in such a fun, exciting day!
